London Travel AgencyLondon Travel Agency Ltd. as a travel Company is located in London the Capital city of England and the United Kingdom. We are at the largest metropolitan area in the United Kingdom, and the largest urban zone in the European Union. About London ...

No city in the world is quite like London, huge and modern yet traditional and historical, London is not only the capital of England and the United Kingdom it's a global capital of fashion, entertainment and culture. Only a handful of cities truly answer to the cliché "something for everyone" and London is one of them. Think of any activity under the sun, and you'll likely find it in London.

London has a distinct global identity as home of the Queen, Big Ben and double-deck buses. It contains four World Heritage Sites: Palace of Westminster and Westminster Abbey, including St Margaret’s Church (inscribed 1987), Tower of London (inscribed 1988), Maritime Greenwich (inscribed 1997) and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (inscribed 2003). Other famous landmarks include Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Piccadilly Circus, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, Trafalgar Square and  Wembley Stadium. London is home to numerous museums, galleries, libraries, sporting events and other cultural institutions, including the British Museum, National Gallery, British Library, Wimbledon and more than 40 theatres. London's Chinatown is the largest in Europe. The London Underground is the oldest underground railway as a city network in the world. London is truly one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, and tourism continues to grow stronger every year thanks to the thriving economy. New images of London will certainly be formed by Summer 2012 when the city hosts the 30th Olympic Games for an unprecedented third time. It also hosted the Olympic Games in 1908 and 1948.

Historically, London was a Roman City surrounded by a wall and nicknamed the "Square Mile." Since the 19th century, the name "London" has been taken to refer to the entire metropolis  that surrounds the original City of London. Meanwhile, the urban sprawl surrounding central London and encompassing 32 boroughs became known as Greater London. It is a leading global city, with strengths in the arts, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media, professional services, research and development, tourism and transport all
contributing to its prominence.

London is the world's largest financial centre alongside New York City and has the fifth-largest city GDP in the world (and the largest in  Europe). It has the most international visitors of any city in the world and London Heathrow is the world's busiest airport by number of international passengers. London's 43 universities form the largest concentration of higher education in Europe.

London has a diverse range of peoples, cultures and religions and more than 300 languages are spoken within its boundaries. In July 2010 Greater London had an official population of 7,825,000, making it the most populous municipality in the European Union. Greater London Urban Area is the second-largest in the EU and has a population of 8,278,000, while London's metropolitan area is the largest in the EU and has a population of 14 million people. London had the largest population of any city in the world from around 1831 to 1925. Despite being densely populated, one of the great things about London is that it still has large open areas and parklands.
