Trip Itinerary

Day 1 LONDON - SALISBURY - STONEHENGE - PLYMOUTH (2 NIGHTS)


Welcome to Great Britain! Stop to view Salisbury Cathedral, featuring the tallest church spire in the UK. Visit the mysterious prehistoric monoliths at Stonehenge. In Plymouth, see the place where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for the New World aboard the Mayflower. This evening, meet and get to know your companions and Travel Director at a Welcome Pub Reception, which includes a typical British pub meal and drinks.

Day 2 CORNISH EXCURSION


View St. Michael’s Mount at Penzance. Visit St. Ives, a picturesque seaside resort popular with artists. Enjoy a wonderfully relaxing day full of beautiful scenery.

Day 3 PLYMOUTH - GLASTONBURY - BATH - CARDIFF


Visit the ruins at Glastonbury Abbey, formerly a rich and powerful monastery. See the legendary site of King Arthur’s tomb. Visit the Roman town of Bath to see the Georgian architecture. Enjoy an included visit to the Roman Baths. Cross the Severn Bridge to Wales where you stay for the night in Cardiff.

Day 4 CARDIFF - WATERFORD


See the sights of Cardiff including the castle during your morning orientation. Admire the beautiful scenery on your way to Pembroke port where you board a ferry to Rosslare, Ireland.

Day 5 WATERFORD - BLARNEY - KENMARE (2 NIGHTS)


Visit the Waterford Crystal showrooms where you will have the opportunity to buy some crystal souvenirs. Driving via Dungarvan and the fishing village of Youghal, see St. Anne's Shandon Church in Cork. Kiss the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle and acquire the 'gift of the gab'!

Day 6 RING OF KERRY EXCURSION


See spectacular landscapes, dramatic mountains and sandy beaches during your highlight drive around the Ring of Kerry. View Dingle Bay and the South Kerry Mountains before heading back to Kenmare.

Day 7 KENMARE - LIMERICK - GALWAY


Drive through Adare, one of Ireland’s prettiest villages, en route to Limerick on the banks of the River Shannon. See King John's Castle, St. Mary's Cathedral and the Treaty Stone, where the Treaty of Limerick was signed. Visit the spectacular Cliffs of Moher near Galway.

Day 8GALWAY - CONNEMARA NATIONAL PARK - SLIGO


Visit the beautiful city of Galway and enjoy some free time for shopping. Later drive through the lakes and mountains of Connemara National Park. Travel towards County Sligo for an overnight stay.

Day 9 SLIGO - LONDONDERRY - GIANT'S CAUSEWAY - BELFAST


Cross the border to Londonderry in Northern Ireland. See the city during your walking tour with an expert Local Guide. Walk across the interlocking basalt columns at the Giant’s Causeway. Finish the day with a drive along the Antrim Coast Road through Ballycastle to Belfast.

Day 10 BELFAST SIGHTSEEING - DUBLIN (2 NIGHTS)

Day 11 DUBLIN SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME

Day 12 DUBLIN - CHESTER - LIVERPOOL


From Holyhead travel along the north Wales coast through magnificent scenery around Snowdonia, the highest peak in Wales, and past the medieval Conwy Castle. Your orientation walk of Chester includes the famous ‘Rows’ and Roman ruins. Join your fellow travellers this evening for a Highlight Dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 13 LIVERPOOL - LAKE DISTRICT

Day 14 LAKE DISTRICT - GLASGOW

Day 15GLASGOW - ISLE OF SKYE


Follow the banks of Loch Lomond north to Glencoe in the Highlands and past Fort William, which lies in the shadow of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. At Maillag take the ferry ’over the sea to Skye'.

Day 16 ISLE OF SKYE - LOCH NESS - SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS


Enjoy a scenic drive back to the mainland via Glen Shiel and along the banks of Loch Ness keeping an eye out for the elusive monster! Enjoy a special Be My Guest luncheon at a beautiful Scottish Highland Castle. Later visit Culloden, where Bonnie Prince Charlie was defeated by the redcoats, ending his aspirations to the throne.

Day 17 SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS - ST. ANDREWS - EDINBURGH (2 NIGHTS)

Day 18 EDINBURGH SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME

Day 19 EDINBURGH - YORK

Day 20 YORK - COVENTRY - STRATFORD - LONDON


Hear the fable of Lady Godiva riding naked through Coventry and see the two Cathedrals. Arrive later in London where your wonderful holiday comes to an end.
